Amblyopia

Amblyopia refers to the decrease in visual acuity of the eye called amblyopic or commonly known as lazy eye. Without any alteration in the structures of the eye, the amblyopic eye does did not reach 100% visual acuity. This is due to a lack of visual stimulation at a critical stage in visual development. This causes the visual system to not develop correctly.

As a result, the amblyopic person has difficulty in :

Seeing clearly, focusing, moving the eyes correctly, having depth and 3D vision.
